20 Celsius to Fahrenheit conversion formulas
Celsius- Fahrenheit °F = ( °C * 1.8 ) + 32
Fahrenheit – Celsius °C = ( °F – 32 ) * 1.8
Examples of Celsius to Fahrenheit conversion
A. Convert 20 °C to °F?
Formula
°F = ( °C * 1.8 ) + 32
°F = ( 20 * 1.8 ) + 32 = 68 °F
Answer: 20 °C = 68 °F
Absolute Zero | -273.15°C | -459.67°F |
---|---|---|
Parity | -40.00°C | -40°F |
Freezing point | 0°C | 32°F |
Body Temperature | 37°C | 98.6°F |
Boiling point | 100°C | 212°F |
Other examples
B. Convert 60 °C to °F?
°F = ( °C * 1.8 ) + 32
°F = ( 60 * 1.8 ) + 32 = 140°F
Answer: 60 °C = 140 °F
C. Convert 200 °C to the Fahrenheit scale
Step I: Multiply the number of degree by 9.
= 200° × 9
= 1800°
Step II: Divide the product by 5.
= 1800° ÷ 5
= 360°
Step III: Add 32 to the result.
= 360 + 32
= 392° F
Therefore, 200 °C = 392 °F
Answer: 200 °C = 392 °F

How to Convert 20 celsius to Fahrenheit
Here is a simple method that you can follow while converting 20 Celsius to Fahrenheit in just a minute.
How to Convert 20 Celsius to Fahrenheit
- Multiply the Term by 9 Over 5 i.e 1.8
Multiply the value of 20 by 1.8… 20 °C * 1.8
- Add 32
Add 32 to the value you obtain from step 1..…
- Change the Unit
Replace °C with °F.
A centigrade scale is based on zero degrees for water’s freezing point and one hundred degrees for its boiling point. The centigrade scale was created in 1742 by the Swedish astronomer Anders Celsius because the defined points are separated by 100 degrees. A temperature can be converted from its representation on the Fahrenheit (°F) scale to its Celsius (°C) value by using the following formula:
°C =5/9 (°F − 32)
Or from celsius to Fahrenheit using the following formula
°F = ( °C * 1.8 ) + 32
There are no exceptions to the Celsius scale being used in scientific work everywhere that the metric system of units has been adopted.
According to Celsius, water’s boiling point is 0°, and snow’s melting point is 100°. In a later version, the cold end was put on 0° and the hot end on 100°, and thereby the temperature became more widely used.
The Celsius scale (invented by Anders Celsius)
100 °C: Water Boiling point. Considered to be the boiling point of water. Above this temperature, water will start to turn to steam.
37 °C: Normal body temperature. The is the normal body temperature of a human being
0 °C: Water Freezing point. At this temperature or below this temp the water starts to freeze and turn to ice.
–273 °C: Absolute Zero degree celsius.

Fahrenheit (invented by Daniel Fahrenheit)
212 °F: Water Boiling point. Considered to be the boiling point of water. Above this temperature, water will start to turn to steam.
98.6 °F: Average human body temperature.
32 °F: Water Freezing point. At this temperature or below this temp the water starts to freeze and turn to ice.
-459 °F: The absolute zero temperature, the coldest possible temperature.
